STATE OF VERMONT WEB

The State of Vermont maintains an extensive amount of government related information on its WEB site. Of particular interest is the area devoted to THE VERMONT DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING. These pages lists job openings across the entire state. Visitors can post resumes as well. Most of the other state agencies also have a presence.

Vermont is represented in the U.S. Senate by Bernie Sanders and Patrick Leahy. Their WEB pages are always kept up to date with issues and information that concern Vermonters.

WCAX is Vermont's first television station going on the air from the top of Mount Mansfield in the fall of 1954. It's commitment to bringing Vermont the most comprehensive local and state news is clearly reflected on the pages of its WEB site.

Up-to-the-minute forecasts and weather conditions for the entire state from the National Weather Bureau in Burlington, Vermont. These forecasts include weather warnings, radar summaries, seasonal summaries, and recreational forecasts for boaters (summer) and skiers (winter).

LAKE CHAMPLAIN FERRY SCHEDULE

Three ferry routes cross the lake during the summer operated by The Lake Champlain Transportation Company. Current information about the ferry service can be found here.
