"The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down" is better know as the Looney Toons theme song. It's actually a humorous love song about a young man on a date who finds time to steal a kiss when the merry-go-round malfunctions. It was first performed by Daffy Duck in his second cartoon feature called Daffy Duck and Egghead which came out in 1938.
