This series of photographs was taken on the night of July 3rd, 1999 from our boat anchored in Lake Champlain at the north end of the break water at Perkins Pier, Burlington, Vermont. In some of the photos you can see the reflection of the fireworks in the water. All of the pictures were shot on Kodak Royal Gold ASA 200 film using auto exposure. The interesting motion effects are the result of the rocking of the boat, the rapid motion of the firework explosions, and the timed exposures.
